Looks like it's time to warm up the old big C-Band dish. I'm glad that I never tore down that eyesore in the backyard.

Same here, DE. Still have my old C-band satellite dish out in the backyard as well. This was the only reason why I kept mine up and running even after switching to DirecTv. It's definitely an eyesore but you could always count on finding a live Cowboys preseason game being aired.

I'll do my best to keep those of you who won't have access to the game by posting the play-by-play as the game progresses.

I think we all know if we are in an area where we will get the game live on tv next Saturday, or have to wait to see it in tape delay on Monday morning. Or won't get to see it at all.

You know, I've been thinking about this for a while, but was afraid to bring it up. I didn't want any flak for me (or the ZONE) about the NFL's restrictions on rebroadcasting games.

I'm all setup up to do this, and have done other sporting events for friends in the past. Two issues...

1. I can only host about 5-7 people on my stream site at one time.
2. I'm moving, and probably wont have everything set back until next week some time.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Maybe we could have a cowboys trivia contest or something each week for the members who wont be able to normally view the game. The first 5 -6 will get a login to the site. Mods, what do you think?

What streaming software do you use and how much bandwidth does it take up? I "might" can help out (if my video card wants to play nice)....but only have 45k worth of upload bandwidth.

Host Paul Burmeister will keep tabs on the final week of the NFL Preseason. Games in Week 1 include: BAL v. ATL, MIA v. JAX, BUF v. IND, DEN v. HOU, NYG v. CLE, WAS v. CAR, DAL v. AZ, OAK v. SF.
10 p.m. -- NFL Preseason Game
The Oakland Raiders battle the San Francisco 49ers as a part of Week 1 NFL Preseason action, live on NFL Network.


Also thought that I read somewhere that the game at 10 might be the Dallas game in the Oakland and SF market.
