NFL Network WK 9 Anatomy: Austin's Double-Move

I could care less if anyone wants to claim bias because that wasn't my point at all.

After week 1, there was a whole mob of people ready to pounce on any commentator who dare say that Crayton's TD was poor coverage. Just wondering where they went.
Probably because that TD wasn't primarily due to poor coverage, but this one was. Yes, there was the Romo pump fake and the 'sluggo' that cause him to bite, but with the underneath coverage, he shouldn't have bit at all.

My belief is that there's bad coverage somewhere in the secondary on most snaps. It's only a question of whether (1) the QB can recognize it and (2) the QB has the time to get the ball out.

Very rarely do you see the big play where there's great coverage and it's just a perfectly thrown ball with a nice catch. Recognizing and exploiting bad coverages is a much better skill to have to me.
