Probably because that TD wasn't primarily due to poor coverage, but this one was. After week 1, there was a whole mob of people ready to pounce on any commentator who dare say that Crayton's TD was poor coverage. Just wondering where they went.
My belief is that there's bad coverage somewhere in the secondary on most snaps. It's only a question of whether (1) the QB can recognize it and (2) the QB has the time to get the ball out.
Very rarely do you see the big play where there's great coverage and it's just a perfectly thrown ball with a nice catch. Recognizing and exploiting bad coverages is a much better skill to have to me.
