NFL - News: Ware 'better,' may play Saturday night despite neck strain

I had it in HS and played LB the next week with a neck brace. I thought it looked cool !

I played with a guy in college who spent two nights in the hospital from jamming his neck and was on the field the next game. If it is tissue related as they are saying he can play it is not as big a deal as it looked.

I think they should shut him down for a couple weeks..

Why? If he's OK and can't do more damage to himself, then he should play

If he plays, the guy has brass down below. I have had friends with that injury and it freaking hurts.

No doubt. He's tough.

This is not a concussion or a fracture people. It's a sore neck. I would never want to risk anything, and for sure if there are even remote concerns, then sit the guy. But let's don't get this mixed up with a different type of injury. The stretcher and brace were good precautions--but if it is just a sore neck than there's no risk beyond what is normal for all players out there.

Dude has broken foot, wrist and a strained neck and he says he wants to play. This guy is a true warrior.

He's unstoppable (cue the Citizen watch commercial)

But this whole team is a bunch of losers.

No thanks, I care about Ware's safety too much to see that... It's not worth it, I say shut him down for the rest of the season.

I don't think he should play, but I think this may be the first time in the last 5 years where a prognosis on a Cowboys player is actually improving as time goes on. Generally it's all...."Cowboys player is out with a neck strain", then 3 days later that same Cowboys player has died of dysenterry.

This is messed up, but I laughed. :laugh2:

They won't let him on the field if it were an "if"

Then get him on the field........other players have played thru worse IMHO

I love Ware and dont want to see him get hurt any worse...

But if he is cleared...and he wants to play...

Let him play.........one of the reasons they get paid the big bucks
