I'm curious to hear what his reasoning was. I didn't think there was a chance that the suspension would be reduced. I'm assuming the player he hit must have said something heinous.

Hill should not have hit that Raider player after the game but the lifting of the game check makes me wonder what the Raiders player did for Hill to react that way.

There's video of the player all up in Trysten's personal space prior to the swing, as well as the player swinging in return. So Hill's punishment was deserved, but the Raider dude wasn't a complete innocent.
