File under "How can we get the Cowboys connected to this story involving two former, fading stars?"

I’m always amazed when such great players like Joe Haden says something so insane like this….I try to separate the player from the analyst but man they seem clueless.
its called shock jock or click baiting. say something outrageous about a polarizing subject, in this case cowboys and then you get people on both sides arguing and you get on the top of whatever media platform its being used for it.

its called Marketing!!!

Lol man the saying there is only 1 ball to go around is true
Yeah, this is the thought I keep coming back to as well. I was just reading the 6WR thread and kept thinking the same thing. Not that I have anything against any of the WR's after the top 3 but without injuries it's going to be hard for them to get many opportunities in the passing game.

Add in the fact that we are supposed to be serious about effectively running the ball and the pie shrinks even more.

At some point, you've got enough talent to win, you just have to go out & get it done.

Big facts brother. It's those fans that wants us to sign this guy and this guy etc. Then complain all the guys aren't contributing

It's great that so many players are finding a career in broadcasting post Football as it's so taxing on our bodies. It's not so great that 99% of these guys are sans clue about Cowboys football over the last 3 decades

It's easy to assume everyone wants to play in Dallas when the truth is not everyone does.

"We missed out" or "Jerry screwed up" are often heard when FA's sign with other teams.

Players have reasons to avoid Dallas just like some can't wait to get here.
Logic is void to most fanatics on here who love to complain and nag.

ONLY WAY THIS EVER HAPPENS IS IF GUYS GET INJURED FOR THE SEASON
This FO usually waits a season too late to even do that

Took them a full season to figure out that Gallup wasn’t at 100% healthy…..than they sign “has been” TY Hilton off the couch.

They'll do the same thing with RB this year.

I was curious how the 2 players would team up? lol. and that would somehow get cowboys to sign them.

Maybe if they did a 2 for price of 1 deal it might work?

Nobody can still come up with a logical scenario where Cook and Hopkins A. Want to come here, and B. Fit the team structure. I thought this site had mature fans. I get wanting both players, but using it as an opportunity to trash Jerry abd Stephen is lame and childish
