I am having an argument with other Packers fans. Unreal I know!!. FAvres contract runs thru 2010. My belief is that if Favre does not unretire, but decides he wants to play in 2011, he would still need the Packers approval because they would still own his rights. Their argument is that if he waits until 2011 he will not require the Packers approval to sign with whoever he wants because his contract will have expired.

hey how about we trade the pack Roy Williams for Farve since both there contracts are through 2010 and we need a backup qb.

MIght as well throw in Romo too. Romo won't enjoy sitting behind Favre any more than Aaron Rodgers did. :)

we wouldn't win a home game with farve as our starting qb with his track record at Texas Stadium;)

His contract is owned by them until he fulfills it. In 2011 if he has not played he is still their property.
