82 respondents should say all we need to know.

There are about 1700 active players and many more than that overall.

A lot of players come from Texas, Florida and CA. All warm weather states. The thought of playing in ice and snow cant be appealing to them if they've never done it before.

Yes, a very small sample size. If they polled more players Green Bay would be higher on that list. Players don't want to play in the brutal cold and live in small city Green Bay, Wisconsin for a significant portion of the year. There is nowhere to party.

I think people are thinking about what a good organization GB is, but forgetting what a boring, cold place it is the rest of the time you're not at work. Also, Wisconsin suckles its young on cheese and wheat-products. That can't be all that attractive in the summer time compared to a Miami or a California.

Like that Dennis Leary line in Draft Day "My wife liked Dallas, it's a fancy city full of fancy people. She didn't like when I said 'Honey, pack you bags, we're moving to Cleveland!'"

Not surprising lol packers is odd though.

Makes sense to me. What 20-32yr old would want to call a smallish midwest town with frigid cold weather during the season his home? Same as Cleveland. Those towns offer nothing, especially to an athlete.

I can't really recall many big time FA's signing with them.

Very true but thats why i dont get why jacksonville is on there. Id love to be rich and live in florida! lol. Packers are just one of the best franchises though.

I would play in Oak, not even in my bottom 5. So what if the city isn't ideal, you can always live in SF and just drive over

The sample size is ridiculous though........

Yep I would hate to play there. The city only has like 100k and 99% of the residents are packer fans, but thats besides the point.
