Actually it is a 4 point spread because the odd makers are giving the home team (Cowboys) +3.

I don't find it surprising at all. Dallas is home thats +3 right there. Dallas has a high powered offense that can not only pass but run the ball and stopping the run is the Colts achilles' heel. The Cowboys have one of the top defenses in the league. With Dallas inconsistency, the could win a close game, blow the Colts out, or get blown out by the Colts. I think the points are exactly what they should be.
