It wasn't "meaningless" because it can definitely affect home field if the team makes the playoffs. It's a Conference opponent, borderline meaningless would be losing to an AFC opponent in that manner.Because it's a meaningless loss. You don't evaluate a team based on games where they just don't show up.
20th? LOL, that's a little extreme. 5-9 is fine after that performance. Defense got smoked/didn't show up. Doubt it happens again for awhile.NFL.com

I’m honestly surprised we didn’t tumble out of the top 10. Sunday’s loss was one of the most pathetic performances I’ve ever seen from this team in all 3 phases of the game. I would have personally ranked them at around 20.
Don’t let him fool you. It’d be 39th or 49th If he had it his way. I’m sure some rank come Co-Ed flag teams above dallas20th??? ****
Agreed.Well deserved demotion.
We'll see how meaningless it is in December.Because it's a meaningless loss. You don't evaluate a team based on games where they just don't show up.
Yes I know but don’t recall them looking this bad to a horrible team. Long time ago though. Then you should know we lost to few bad teams during those years. The teams that SB winning teams shouldn't have lost to.
At least someone else gets it. Every game counts. We'll see how meaningless it is in December.
I was at that Miami game. Not a good evaluation though with the horrible weather. But I get your point. This loss just got me down along with losing Diggs. Then you missed 1993's 0-2 open. Even missing Emmitt Smith Washington that year was a very bad football team and didn't just win, they wrecked the Cowboys 35-16.
And if you want the Smith excuse to stand, lets fast forward to playing the bad Atlanta Falcons in the Georgia Dome in November. The team sleepwalked and got run out, with Smith, 27-14.
That wasn't bad enough, they followed that game with their overall below middling performance, admittedly in bad conditions against a very mediocre Dolphins squad ending the utter all time embarrassment of Leon Lett's live football touch disaster that led to a 16-14 win, dropping the team at midseason to 7-4 and causing a lot in the media to discount Dallas as a contender any longer.
I understand.I was at that Miami game. Not a good evaluation though with the horrible weather. But I get your point. This loss just got me down along with losing Diggs.
The worst experience I had was that playoff game vs Giants in January ‘08. I was depressed for days and missed a couple days work. Having to pay to watch that debacle was salt in the wound.I understand.
I was at the Atlanta game. It was my first game since I'd lived in big D and my Dad took me up there since I'd been missing Texas Stadium. Kind of a disappointing outing!

Wow, you're really a nice person, aren't you.Your work doesn't matter in this conversation and nobody cares enough about you to rank you.
If you did good work 99 times and had 1 stinker, you wouldn't get fired anyway.
No.Wow, you're really a nice person, aren't you.
and that's not true at all.
A stinker at that level would get me packing.
I can tell. You should work on your people skills. You never know, you might end up with having friends.No.
You have a crappy boss then
