Guess who's back in the Top 10?

Rank 7: Previous rank: No. 11

"Now that's more like it. The Cowboys came out angry and sharp against the Eagles, jumping on their NFC East rivals early and coasting to a 37-10 win at Jerrah World. The victory was effective on three levels: 1) It snapped Dallas' three-game losing streak; 2) it moved the Cowboys back into sole possession of first place; and 3) it sent the Eagles into a minor panic and potential existential crisis. This was the Cowboys' most lopsided win over Philadelphia since a 34-0 shutout on Nov. 2, 1998. This is all excellent news for head coach Jason Garrett, who was at the center of a particularly heated week of national discussion about his worth and job security. NBC's Cris Collinsworth put it well as Garrett jogged to midfield to meet Doug Pederson for the customary postgame handshake: "The pressure relief valve has been hit."

The Chiefs have a better record than we do. I wonder why they're not ranked ahead of us, not that it matters that much. Just curious.

I don't like that we have the bye week after a big win like that. Its good for the injured players, but we lose momentum...

I like it. This was a bellweather game. A close loss - he could have survived, but a lopsided loss would have burned the house down. I have never seen him look so grim as this year. Looks like he had lost some serious sleep.
I hope we continue to progress, but there are no guarantees after the first seven games. I do like it that we have battled back and came so close in two of the losses.

My top 10 based on what I've seen. I don't go by records. I also look at the current healthy roster (example- I put Brees as the starter and Mahomes not starting.)
1. Saints- Think Brees being hurt was a blessing in disguise. They really counted on that defense and they got better.
2. Packers- Rodgers is throwing to nobodies. Good run game. Defense is very solid too.
3. Patriots- Really want to see them play good teams but they have dominated. Defense could be legendary. Need to wait and see.
4. Ravens- Sold on Lamar. Defense makes big plays.
5. Colts- Brissett has been great. Awesome FO and coaching. Will it last?
6. Seahawks- Russell is my current MVP. Not a lot of weapons on that offense. Defense needs to step up.
7. Texans- Watson is having a good year. Don't trust O'Brien.
8. Cowboys- They could be a top 4/5 team. Which team shows up?
9. 49ers- Jimmy G is going to lose this team games. Just wait for it. This is a 10-6 kind of team not a 13-3 team. Defense is #2 next to New England.
10. Panthers- Kyle Allen is balling. CMC is a MVP candidate. Like Indy will it last?

If we can maintain that kind of focus and enthusiasm, we can can be even better. The question is; can Garrett keep this team playing with the same intensity?

I think we know how this plays out, happens every year
