1. Raiders - Mendoza QB - no brainer
2 Jets - Reese OLB/DE - most dynamic for a defensive coach
3. Commanders - Bailey DE (trade with Cardinals for #7 and 1st in 2027) - need a big EDGE
4. Saints - Love RB (trade with Titans for #8, #42, #90 for #4, #101) - need help for Slough, Love good receiver also
5. Chiefs - Delane CB (trade with Giants for #5 for #9, #74 and 3rd in 2027) - only 2 starting CB in the draft
6. Browns - Mauigoa LT - could trade down or go WR but need is LT and Mauigoa is BPA here
7. Cardinals - Fano OT - have to protect QB and new one in 2027 plus extra 1st in 2027

8. Cowboys - Styles ILB (trade #20, 2nd in 2027, 3rd in 2028 for #8) Titans still get WR or DE at 20 plus picks

9. Giants - Tate WR - could be safety here but giving Dart Tate with Nabers and Skateboo make for a potent offensive
10. Jets - Lemon WR (trade with Bengals, #10, #41 or #16, #33, #103)
11. Dolphins - Bain Edge - short arms but good pick plus help in the community

12. Cowboys - Downs S - a miracle happens with Dallas getting the top 2 on their board
92. Malik Muhammed CB
112.Jaishawn Barham LB/Edge
152 Charles Demmings CB
177. Michael Trigg TE
180. Kaleb Elarms-Orr LB
218. Cole Wisniewski S
Priority undrafted free agents
EJ Smith RB
Uar Bernard DT
Joe Cooper OT
Red Murdock LB
J. Michael Sturdivant WR

I'd be so irked if the Cowboys traded all that away. You have to consider your top pick could get injured, so there's a chance you spend all that on a player who can't play.

Hard hard pass here.

If Styles Downs Bailey Reese Delane those five are all gone at 12 I’m in favor of trading down getting more premium draft capital . Not trading up at all . Give me back my 1 later in the round but also a 3 . I don’t think you can get a 2 by trading down plus the 1 later in the round .

Is pick 20, 2027 2nd and 2028 3rd enough to trade up to 8? If so, sign me up! Styles and Downs are my two favorite players in this draft.

They got 2 top picks.

Yes the Uber 27 draft we need our pic

The type of veterans you could trade for vs going with Styles makes this terrible value.

Teams will give away top 5-10 at their position guys for day 2 picks.

Especially at linebacker.

If you’re moving up in the draft it’s for QB’s, pass rushers , or Offensive Tackles.

I agree with you. I also want to trade 20 for a first rounder next year as the draft is suppose to have better prospects next year. Maybe pick up a 2nd this for a trade down to a 1st next year.

Still got two players! I don’t hate it
That would make this off season a pretty big success imo. We got two impact players who should be corner stones.

I hope the Jones duo is looking at this strategy . Don’t force picks . If you have to trade down that is not a bad thing when your getting extra premium picks rounds 1-3

Agree with you. Don’t force the picks but JJ can get trigger happy

I don’t mind it. You go in assuming these guys are hurt. You can’t be afraid of trades because of hypothetical injuries is trade my whole draft for Styles and Downs.

not going to lie, Sandy is the smartest poster on this board. Getting two top tier defenders in this class is the smartest thing I’ve seen anyone come up with. Absolutely brilliant.
I mean it’s not realistic is why no one has done it lol.

You can get too cute. I don’t like getting too cute. I feel like you follow your board and it’s the safest approach. I would’ve never traded with Philly to get Micah. It worked out well but I don’t like getting too cute. I feel we ended up with Julius Jones instead of Stephen Jackson for that reason.

If your targets are gone when it’s your turn you initiate or listen to trade proposals . Now for trading down I would want a minimum one and three in return . Dallas needs a group of good competent picks , the home run guys at 12 likely gone .

good idea but I doubt they have the patience for it.

I guess that’s the thing though….i feel like there’s more than 12 guys that can start for me. I’d draft Thienneman at 12 confidentially or McNeil.

But it depends on who the Cowboys like. I feel like passing up TJ Watt was too cute. I’m just saying they need to be careful. They can get an all pro at 12. You just never know.
