Dak remains at the #16 spot.

Rank 16 -- Dak Prescott -- Dallas Cowboys · Year 8
2023 stats: 6 games | 69.5 pct | 1,333 pass yds | 7.0 ypa | 6 pass TD | 4 INT | 85 rush yds | 1 rush TD | 0 fumbles

"Prescott did enough to beat the Chargers, and at times, he was pretty damn sharp. His teammates -- namely, Michael Gallup -- didn’t do him any favors, though, failing to make plays when presented with catchable passes. Prescott dug into his bag of tricks in the fourth quarter, escaping a sack and flinging a pass to Tony Pollard, who raced downfield for a 60-yard gain. Prescott followed that by finding Brandin Cooks with a well-placed pass for a touchdown. It was a mixed bag in total and Prescott still seems risk-averse, much like his coach. But he put together a solid performance in a win."

Other notables:

Purdy falls down six spots to the #12 spot.

Justin Herbert falls down six spots to the #11 spot. Do you agree that he is better than Dak, after last week's game?

At #10 We have Kirk Cousins, a top ten quarterback?

Goff gains two spots to the #6 spot. Best Quarterback on the 2016 class?

#5 Hurts

No way is take Geno or Baker over Dak. Rest of the list I don’t have too much of an issue with. Break it up into tiers though and it probably gives a better indication of where guys are at. A lot of those guys in that #8 to 16ish range are almost interchangeable week to week.

NFL.com can't be relied upon. They never watch the games. They just put numbers into a special calculator and copy and paste the automated list it produces.

Nick Wright, ProFootballNetwork, and The Ringer has Dak in the Top 7.

MVP odds have Dak 10. So.... point taken.

putting numbers into a special calculator and copy and pasting sounds like the stats that get copy and pasted here. ;)

QB rating systems are flawed. Offensive scheme, Coordinators and weapons around you will boost your "rating". Raise your hand if you would rather have Tua than Pat Mahomes or Josh Allen. Or Joe Burrow. Or even Jalen Hurts. All those guys on Miami's offensive unit would be better than Tua.

Don't agree with the ranking of a few guys like Mayfield and Stafford. Otherwise, yeah, middle of the pack seems fine for Dak.

If Tua can stay healthy he can put up some numbers with the weapons he has. It’s all about staying healthy which he has struggled to do
