NFL QB Records vs Winning Teams

so I guess stafford isn't all that and he needs a strong supporting cast to win games, ala what he has in LA...

my point was that if stafford was all that, then he could elevate those around him better, given they were good teams (11,12 wins) to make playoffs...yet his record in all those years was 7 wins against teams with a winning record.....

so the notion of a QB doing it all by himself is a myth I guess
I think they all need a strong supporting cast….some more than other, but all need it
Common sense
Don't ask me why some here don’t get it

Here you go...

"Quit holding Dak to a different standard!!!"

let me guess, it's kellen moore's fault?

The Dak portion:

In 2020, Dak Prescott was 0-3 (.000) against winning teams as the starting quarterback.

  • Rams (loss)
  • Seahawks (loss)
  • Browns (loss)
In 2019, Dak Prescott was 2-6 (.250) against winning teams as the starting quarterback.

  • Saints (loss)
  • Packers (loss)
  • Eagles (win)
  • Vikings (loss)
  • Patriots (loss)
  • Bills (loss)
  • Rams (win)
  • Eagles (loss)
In 2018, Dak Prescott was 3-4 (.428) against winning teams as the starting quarterback.

  • Seahawks (loss)
  • Texans (loss)
  • Titans (loss)
  • Eagles (win)
  • Saints (win)
  • Eagles (win)
  • Colts (loss)
Last season Tom Brady was 1-4 vs teams that finished 9-7 or better. Beat 2 8-8 teams and lost to 1 8-8 (bears). He then went on to beat one of the teams that he lost to twice in the regular season and another in the SB! It’s a 53 player team sport who is and isn’t on the field that particular game day makes a difference!

Wins in general are a team stat therefore these types of aggregations are useless. What would be more useful if someone was able to do an objective review of games where a QB either helped the team win, drive the bus, or helped the team lose. Now that would be worth discussing.

I didn't read through the whole thread but did anyone point out that he's 5-4 vs .500 or better teams this year? Isn't the "what have you done lately" the new norm? Well, which is it? He used to suck against good competition but he's improving? If that were the case than why in the world do we see these threads show up a couple times a day?
