NFL rescinded the $13,611 fine given to Cowboys TE Jake Ferguson for saying he was “shotgunning a beer”. Ferguson told the league it was his Gatorade celebration that he previously had done on multiple occasions in practice, as the team had documented on social media. Fine rescinded.

September 20 - Gatorade celebration
September 25 - Fine levied
October 7 - Fine rescinded

The NFL. In the 21st century. Deciding and processing league rules with the speed and rational of the 1940's.

Too funny in the post that I made in original post when he got the fine I said since it was judged by an interpretation, he should just say it wasn't a beer but something else. Looks like that worked.

Yea. Gatorade. And they bought it.
Ferguson’s best play of the season.

We salute you Mr. Pretending to drink a beer on the field but states it was a juice when miller light officially sponsors your team guy.
