Notice the IR return eligible cutoff is today (Sunday) at 4pm EDT.

Info on Cuts/Waivers/IR/Practice-Squad

• Deadline to cut the active roster to 53 players: Aug 31, 4pm EDT.
• IR Eligible to Return cutoff: Sept 1, 4pm EDT.
  • Any player placed on IR prior to this time is not eligible to return.
• Vested Veterans: Players with 4 or more accrued NFL seasons not subject to waivers.
• Vested Veterans are free agents if cut before the trade deadline.
• Non-Vested Veterans: Are subject to waivers when cut.
• Deadline to claim players from initial cuts on waivers: Sept 1, Noon EDT.
• Deadline for claimed players to be awarded to teams: Sept 1, 1pm, EDT.
• Players that clear waivers are free agents. They can be signed to any team's practice squad.

So no announcements for at least the next 30 minutes. It is 2:30 CST
