NFL Schedule Thread... Release coming at 7:00 p.m. ET

Am I reading the schedule wrong or do we only have 4 primetime games including Thanksgiving?

I was right about the Skins on turkey day...makes too much sense with their new QB and all

He could also be injured, he could also be on the bench due to a poor season, that game could mean nothing. There's so many factors to consider for a game that late in the season.
That is true for any other team not in the NFC East. Even if RGIII is out, the skins would want nothing more than to kill our playoff hopes even if they have just a few wins. It does not matter what factors there are leading up to that game, it is gonna be tough IMO

My point about it not mattering is both teams could be out of playoff contention or one team could already be in the playoffs and that game could mean nothing like 2007.

so early bye...brutal Dec.....sounds about the norm :laugh2:

Of course, this is only in relation if we are playing for our playoff lives.

We play some tough opponents but we play 5 of our last 7 at home.

They are trying to get us in the playoffs with that schedule.

We have only four night games this season. Thanksgiving is an afternoon game.

None of our last four games are night games, so we could get flexed.

You can bet NBC is eyeing the Dallas Pittsburgh game as we speak.

I see 13-3. Maybe 15-1 if a couple breaks go our way. :)

I don't think it looks that bad.

Bengals - questionable
Steelers - good but old
Saints - who knows what they'll be like this year
Skins - questionable

The early bye is not that bad.

We pretty much have 3 long rest weeks for our players.

Week 1 we play on a Wednesday so you can rest them until Monday if needed.

Week 5 bye

Then Turkey day they can have fri - sun off

Plus 5 of the last 7 at home.

It don't get much better than that.

WHat's going on with the ESPN schedule show? Are they seriously marking down Ws and Ls?

:laugh2:

I find myself unable to even hazard a guess about the Cowboys record. Fixing the OL and the secondary would improve this team exponentially but I'm not feeling it with the OL,,, we'll see.

Beating Pittsburgh would be huge, I hope this team has the sand to do it!

The NFL is a joke. 3 home games in the 1st 3 months of the season seriously? :banghead:

I will definitely be at all 3 of those.
