You gotta have some tricks up your sleeve, none of which are legal. Pretty crappy.
This'll be the test market for the expanded playoff games. If it goes well more water can be added to the kool aide. Maybe 9-7 will continue to become the standard for success in the NFL.
The NFL has peaked. It's going to come back down soon.
Cuban? Is that you?
I'm not going so far like Cuban to say it's going to go away, but ticket prices are soaring, the league is moving away from the violence of the game, the rampant desire to field a team in London...
They should instead be focusing on the things that really improve the on-field product. But instead of that, they're figuring more ways to improve their in-wallet product.
My wife likes to go to the sports bar anyway. The only thing she eats that's not really healthy is french fries. She is the Queen of French Fries.
Fantasy football is what will keep them relevant no matter what. People are addicted to it. Take away the fantasy part and somewhere between you and Cuban is right on target IMO.

That and gambling even moreso...

That whole England thing is a huge stretch, makes no sense what so ever. If they ever had their own team they would have to fly to the us 8 times a year. They must have some kinda 20 year plan to spread global and compete with soccer and start up an NFL Europe then have a Super Bowl, a European Bowl, then a Global Bowl between those two. You can never under estimate the greed of 31 billionaires.

I'm changing your name from CyberB0b to BadBob. The original bad Bob.
And now we can get into the "mafia controls the NFL" dialogue.
I think the general belief is that they would have a U.S. "base" and do two 3 game road trips and one 2 game road trip. While this would probably work fine for the most part, it sure would be hell on the players... almost to the point of a competitive disadvantage.
