NFL Sirius Radio challenges Cowboy fans

The host that are currently on NFL Radio, challenged the Cowboys fans to call in. They said that no Cowboys fans have called since the TO situation has diminished. Then they went on to say that the fans of Americas team will call, that they expect to hear from the Steelers fans all day again. (Basically saying that the Steelers are actually Americas Team)

They are going on a Cowboys bash wagon today, and they have went out of their way to accuse us of being afraid to call in and face them. I already called, and some Cowboys fans have started calling. If you are quick witted and are a good debater, call in now, but have your stuff together and be ready. These guys (one of which is an Eagles fan) are basically talking down every Cowboys fan that calls in.

What difference does it make. If you spend all of your time typing in here, when you can take a few minutes to get on live NFL Sirius Radio which is probably listened to by numerous NFL executive, players, and fans. What does it hurt to go up against them and show them just how good we are.

I'll bet you any amount of money that Jerry Jones has NFL Sirius Radio on in his office all day.

So like most radio shows they have learned to become shock jocks and by ripping on a fan base they know they will get those people to call in.

They just created a situation to improve the ratings and interest of their show by ripping on the fans and in turn getting those same fans to rip back.

Why worry about their ratings? Like I said, there is no doubt in my mind that Jones listens to Sirius NFL Radio in his office every chance he gets. That is Jerry. Many NFL people listen. Not many of them probably read here. If you want your opinion known, that is the way to do it. It's nice to show them how good we are.

By the way, they are making a big deal because tonights game did not sell out. That is a shame.

I dont understand this thread? Why would we call in? I dont have sirius radio, I live in DFW, I listen to local sports radio. Who are the hosts of this show and why would I care if they bash cowboys fans?

No matter what happens all cowboys fans get labeled as stupid front runners when they win and as stupid front runners who think we are going to win when we lose.

Its a sad state of affairs. Unfortunately, it is all fueled by this type of reaction from a talk radio show no one has ever heard of or care about. I am tired of all the over the top sensationalism and bashing of coaches, fans and players. There is barely any respect left in sports, the players have no respect, the media has no respect and alot of the fans have lost the respect of the actual sport and what is so great about sports.

I like Old school football, guys who put the team first and only want to win. I hate all the showboating and still view sports as a sport and not entertainment and I loathe the people who refer to it as that.

Anyway, No matter what the cowboys fans around the country get treated like dirt and everyone assumes we only root for the team when they win. They dont know the stories of some people do for their love of the team. For Instance, I moved from ny in 03 because I wanted to be a season ticket holder and live in the market so I could get the most out of it, but these national hosts would never believe a story like that and would just label me in some negative matter.

Sorry for rambling, but I am just tired of all this nonsense, I look forward to football and not the hoopla around it, and I could care less if some unknown sattelite radio host questions whether I am a real fan or not. They should be embarassed for having to stoop to such low level tactics for listeners.

What about the Cowboys fans. Why did they not make a trip to Shreveport? I though this game would sell out easily, especially in a small venue. That is a shame.

for one, it's a monday nite game not a sunday game. I'd love to go but with work today and a 3 hour drive down I-20, UH, no.

I wanted to go, but it's like five or six hours from here, and the tickets were like $50.00 a shot for midline seats. My point is, I just figured that there were enough Cowboys fans in western LA and eastern Texas to fill that small stadium, even on a Monday night. Especially for a nationally televised game.

Its a monday night. I am hope with my son and my wife is working mon-thurs. I have season tickets and am going to the arizona game. So because I cant go to the shreveport game, I am a bad fan and cowboys fans are bad?

If I didnt have responsibilities I would be going tonight.

Unfair assesment. All the stadiums werent filled this past weekend for preseason games, did you see giants stadium? That was not filled.

But I do know it is one of the oldest tricks in the book.

Start up some shock jock tactics to get people to call in and complain.

If the show wasn't slow, they would not need to get interaction from cowboys fans they just ripped on.

In other words, people are falling right into the trap they set to make it better for themselves.

first of all, i don't have it, so i never listen to it anyways. but again, it's pointless....they're just egging you on, and they'll only go against whatever you say.

it's the same reason i don't argue w/ ea-girl fans in the office....what's the point?

i'd rather come here and read articles, and get into mild debates w/ other boys fans than pull my hair out over that nonsense.
