I have the NFL package but not the Max package which enables online streaming. I have a friend in another state that would like to stream the game. Assuming there are not any internet issues can anyone think of a reason it would not work?

This is not making sense, if you don't have the max package how could you stream?

should work but local game will still be blocked based on device ip location. I think only one device per login at a time.

Would there be any issues if I'm watching a game at home and him streaming a different game from another state?

I had it last year. I live in CT and watch game on my old dish (no HD :().

My daughter in CA used the streaming portion out there without a problem...and she got the HD stream...lol. Kids...

It should work and he can even chrome cast to his HD tv. However, slingbox also works so go with the cheapest option.

I have a Fire TV and XBMC installed on it, greatest invention ever. The end.

What channels are the games on? lol first time with sunday ticket

It will work. I let other people use mine at times

I would add the Max package. I did not want to pay for the $90 upgrade if it would not work.

Got to have the Max to stream, call and complain and they'll most likely cut the bill in half(what I did).

For directv customers yes. For non customers some can buy a stream only package that Is new this year

Should be ok. I think they only prevent two streaming devices at one time

I had to root it first then prevent updates. I use ADB fire, and follow steps online. It took probably 20 minutes total and works great.

I used to jailbreak the ATV2 for XBMC too, have switched to the Amazon FireTV now which is much more powerful and no need to jailbreak, much easier to install XBMC and performs better.
