I'll get the Red Zone channel with the sports package on Dish Network again this year. It's like $12ish a month or so. For football fanatics and fantasy guys it's awesome.
Seems like a better option and far less money. I may need t try that.I'll get the Red Zone channel with the sports package on Dish Network again this year. It's like $12ish a month or so. For football fanatics and fantasy guys it's awesome.
Get a life huh? Why bc i dont give a crap about watching other games and bc I think spending 400 bucks for something thats only going to net me a couple of games over what I will get to see on local channels?speak for yourself. I play fantasy football going and if Cowboys play the later game, Ive got 6 games on my movie theater screen at the same time for the early games. I get the 198 dollar military discount, and it is WELL WORTH it for that price. Thats damn cheap, about 11 bucks per week. Anyone complaining about that price needs to get a life.
This made me laugh because it's true.Gotta keep in mind that the bar thing even once or twice could go a long way toward paying for the entire package
Morals. Why would anyone get this when literally every game is online, free to stream?
It's an option , but it is no better than following it live on ESPN or some live sports stats site. It's pretty much pay (NFL ticket) or bust ( ESPN stat tracker)Seems like a better option and far less money. I may need t try that.
What specifically didnt you like about the "Set up?" I had it on Direct Tv for ... 18 years I think. I got it last year on youtube using the military discount, so it is only 198 dollars.Yeah, I got it for free the last 7 out of 8 years when on DTV.
I got it 2 years ago on you tube. it was a joke. I hated the set up.
I live in the DFW area, but like to watch other out of markets games as well.
I did not get it last year. And did perfectly fine without it.
I got an email saying come back, only $450. Then another one saying $144 off, but had no total price or any caveats, like getting you tube TV with it.
If I could get it for $200 I probably would, so I could watch the Bengals games, and other better games than the local ones.
Yep, I want to watch what I want and not worry about a stream.I will admit there is a sense of comfort with the package, KNOWING you are going to watch every game in your domain and not having to check for certain games.
you missed the point. I have no problem with you not getting it. No problem with your reasons you just listed, but for those that complain about the 198 dollar price being too expensive and that is why they wont get it, I stand by what I said. They are providing a good product at a very reasonable price.Get a life huh? Maybe dont be a jerk?
DTV had where you could have 4 games on at once, and could switch between them, if you wanted to go to full screen. They also had an 8 game options. What specifically didnt you like about the "Set up?" I had it on Direct Tv for ... 18 years I think. I like it better as they have split screen, something Direct tv didnt have.
IM pretty big into audio/video and have a dedicated movie room with a 135 inch screen. I have 4 Amazon Firesticks plugged into a video processor. So I can put on one main game that takes up half the screen, and have 3 other games playing on the other half. Even within one of those screen, I could select Youtubes multi game screen, meaning I could have 7 games going at once.DTV had where you could have 4 games on at once, and could switch between them, if you wanted to go to full screen. But you could not elect the games you wanted for the 4 games on TV. But viola on my iPad.
It was convenient to switch between those games, and the games on local TV.
You Tube, was again in at the rear to switch between network games on Sunday, and the games on you tube. Since I still had DTV as my main provider. I guess if one had you tube TV service, maybe it was ok.
you tube did have more options as to which 4 games to watch. But it would not let me do a split screen or choose what games. Maybe because I was not a you tube subscriber.
So the Cowboys were on netter local FOX channel on DTV. Which I watched. But sometimes during commercials I wanted to check in on other games. So had to get out of the you tube app on my tv, switch to satellite TV, then back again. It took a while to get back to each.
With DTV I would just hit the previous channel button.
Watching games on my iPad on you tube was also strange, could not select multiple games as DTV did.
I just did not care for it. However, it the price was $200, then it would be tolerable.
could you give more info on how to share an account with someone else ? How far apart would be allowed?IM pretty big into audio/video and have a dedicated movie room with a 135 inch screen. The firesticks are cheap when you get them on sale. 25 bucks for a 4k firestick is a good deal. I loved direct tv for all those years, but honestly, I like this current set up even better.
Add in the fact you can share your account, and that means myself and daughter split the costs, so we each pay 100 dollars and we both get to use the NFL Ticket from 100 miles apart.
You tube I think allows up to 4 shared accounts from 1 NFL ticket full purchase.could you give more info on how to share an account with someone else ? How far apart would be allowed?
A variety of options .........
I will admit I paid full price last season, but I may hold off this season until after a few games.
198 is indeed very reasonable, and I’d drop close to that in one game at a bar if I went with my wife and we drank and ate.you missed the point. I have no problem with you not getting it. Question….how did you prove military status?
