While Romo is still a very good star player in the league. Rodgers just led his team to a superbowl win. The way in which he got it done elevates him to superstar status. Hope he and Romo get a chance to go head to head in the playoffs next year. It sure would be sweet to beat him.

Hope Rodgers is a one-time SB wonder ... like Brent Farve.

but he plays in Green Bay so even if he never wins again, baglickers at Fox, ESPN etc will keep saying how great he is.

Wouldn't hurt my feeling for anyone to say that about Romo.

He had a good game. But there was a 36 minute gap from the end of the first to the beginning of the fourth quarters where Green Bay didn't score or get first downs. All they did was punt and let Pittsburgh into the game. And that pick six was the real difference in the game. Without that, pig pen gets his third ring.

You're absolutely right. The thing is he did much more to help his team win, and nothing to make them lose. He simply didn't fold on the big stage. Hat's off to him!

Don't forget the missed FG by Suisham. Loved it. Might have gone into OT if the Stealers only needed a FG to tie at the end of the game.

only if Suisham could have kicked a 90 yard field goal.

Winning, sometimes it muddies the water so you dont really see how good you arent.

Now that Rodgers has won one i guess hes better than Marino too? Yet Romo gets no credit tho Crayton drops an easy TD pass, and when it happens to Rodgers, it not his fault.

I really wanted the Steelers to lose, now i have to swallow the bile of the automatically great Aaron Rodgers.

It should put the Romo vs. Rodgers debate to rest anyways. The guy is a stud...and would have had a monster game if his receivers could catch the ball and maybe even if Driver didn't get hurt.

Let's also not forget several pinpointed passes dropped by Rodgers receivers. Dude was on point....period!

If this is true....I'm anxious to see our water get some mud in it.

Rodgers isn't a turnover machine like Favre he'll end up with more SB wins than Favre.

Had Favre been playing for the Packers today the Steelers would be celebrating their 7th SB win.

Pretty Much Rodger first 3 years as Starter compare to Romo's first 3 years are better but identical almostt.

2008 GB 16 341 536 63.6 4038 7.5 28 71 13 6 93.8
2009 GB 16 350 541 64.7 4434 8.2 30 83 7 8 103.2
2010 GB 15 312 475 65.7 3922 8.3 28 86 11 2 101.2

2007 DAL 16 335 520 64.4 4211 8.1 36 59 19 7 97.4
2008 DAL 13 276 450 61.3 3448 7.7 26 75 14 8 91.4
2009 DAL 16 347 550 63.1 4483 8.2 26 80 9 4 97.6

Pretty much over their first 3 years as a fulltime starter their stats are pretty much the same, Romo just has more INTs

Rodgers 12,394 yards 86 tds 31 ints and almost a 98% QB rating

Romo 12,142 yards 88 tds 42 ints and almost a 95% QB rating
