NFL Top 100 Players: Who's the left besides D. Ware and Witten?

I don't think Gurode would be above Romo, Austin, and Ratliff. Alan Ball maybe? :laugh2:
 
My brother (MDCOWBOY) and I were debating this earlier. I think it's either Dez Bryant or Matt McBriar (even though he's a punter). My brother says Andre Gurode. I think Gurode is the better choice, but I wonder how much players appreciated Dez last season before he was injured?

Yea I don't think its Dez because Mike Williams already made the list and I can't see him being lower than Dez. I think its Gurode. 2 Time All Pro and 5 time Pro Bowler? Cowboy fans might not think much of him but I think others around the league do.

Well considering they've named all the rookies that are gonna be on the team (Suh, williams and Bradford) and that a punter would not only never make this list, but never be above guys like Austin, Greg Jennings etc, this argument doesn't present your family in the right light:laugh2:


To me I find it funny how people go out of their way not to give Gurode credit even when they see him making (how many consecutive now?) probowls, all-pro teams, constantly being voted by coaches and his peers as one of the best centers in the league etc..........just because they've seen a few errant shotgun snaps and they believe he's too dumb to call out protection because of the way it looks lol.

When you watch him dominate his man virtually all the time, and push around guys like Haynesworth and Ngata then just go with the simplest definition and accept that we'll have one of our players, one of the best centers in the league, ranked by his peers at his rightful position.

It's not Dez...they had a show about the stats of the top 100 players and they listed the wr's as having the most by position...then they added only 1 rookie wr made the top 100. Since Mike Williams has already been announced we know Dez did not make it.
I think it's Gurode....outside shot that Leonard Davis was on the list...everyone always knocks our offensive line but we always have at least one on the pro-bowl squad.
If they go by performance from last year then Free is the guy who deserves to be on that list.
 
Still waiting for them to show someone I'd take ahead of Romo (doubt they will until at least the top 25 - though others will slip too I'm sure). Of course the only Cowboys player I'd even give more than a nanosecond of consideration of being ahead of Romo is Ware, but apparently there are 4 on the list.
 
Seems to be dez but sapp and Warner debated it being bradie or Spencer
 
I think it's plausible that Romo would slip his way into the bottom tier of the Top 100.

It is not Dez, he had a good rookie year but it wasn't top 100 worthy... My money is on Gurode.

It is not Dez. NFLN has already stated that there are only 3 rookies on the list. Mike Williams and Eric Berry have already been named. Ndamukong Suh is without a doubt the third.

There are no punters or kickers on the list. Therefore it cannot be McBriar.

#70: Miles Austin

It's probably Gurode. Been an All-Pro a couple times and pretty much lived in the Pro Bowl the last 5-6 years. One of those players who has more respect from opposing players than the fans of his own team.
