Maybe you should reword your poll... I think that trash talking is part of the game but spitting is really BUSH and the guy should be ejected and fined heavily....

I agree. Trash talking I have no problem with, spitting and throwing punches is much different.

There's nothing wrong with trash talk.

The way I see it... if you don't want to hear trash talk...
don't give them any reason to talk trash (i.e. Giving up a 40 yard TD or giving up a sack, etc...).



Spitting and throwing blows is another matter entirely...

If it is just talk seperate them and send them back to the huddle. If it goes beyond that penalize them or eject them and or fine them or whatever the situation calls for. In other words do like we have been doing.
