Ok....something fishy here.....could have swore that there was a conflict of Saints-Cowboys games here in the Orleans area at a 12noon start on the 30th and now the Cowboys-Commanders are a 3:15pm start......is that a mistake or did they move the game or did I just have a MAAAJOR senior moment, and I don't drink. Hopefully someone can shed some light as I must have had a major snafu thinking the Saints and the Cowboys were both on at noon on the 30th.......maybe I'll start drinking and I'll be able to remember stuff. hmmmmm.......

Just did a search on ZapTV and Dallas TV stations are showing Cowboys-Commanders at noon and the Cowboy Website shows it starting at 3:15...I think it showed noon start yesterday. Did I miss something?

You must have missed the announcement that the game time was changed, from noon to 3:15.

Yeah you're right, I never heard any announcement, I live 60 miles from N.O. every local network down here breathes Saints talk so good to find out about the time change and that I'll be on as the late game. Funny though, online, the Dallas TV channels are still showing the game as 12noon. I figured for sure they'd change that is the reason I checked that. Thanks for the heads up though 'vicjagger'.....really gets tiring here listening to Saints fans excuses and right now most aren't really bashing the Cowboys but I think that's only seasonal though. Thanks again. Mike

Dammed Jets. No one wants to see them anyway.

Good news, for us NY Cowboys fans.

Breaking news: Cowboys-Commanders to be seen in NY

Spies deep within the sports TV industry tell me the NFL is going to relax some of its usual rules in Week 17, one result of which will be that the Cowboys-Commanders game will be on Ch. 5 despite the fact the Jets have a home game at the same time on Ch. 2.
Is this payback for Fox being left out of the simulcast of the Patriots-Giants game? I don't know . . . yet.
Is this payback for Ch. 9 - part of the same business empire as Fox - losing its broadcast exclusivity for the Saturday night game? I don't know . . . yet.
But who cares, really? You've got an extra game now, New York. Enjoy!
(Update: Good thing I posted this when I did, because now the NFL has announced it officially. So I got to look smart for five or 10 minutes, an eternity in the twisted world of blogging. Click below for the full NFL news release.)

Here it is:
With 15 teams remaining in the Super Bowl race, fans will be able to follow more of the action on Sunday as an NFL “double doubleheader” airs on CBS and FOX.
Every television market other than those with a home game will receive a 1 PM ET game on CBS and FOX and a 4:15 PM ET game on each network. Fans in those markets will receive four Sunday afternoon games.
All NFL markets where there is a home game which is sold out will receive three games – the local team's home game at 1 PM ET or 4:15 PM ET and two games at the time that the home team is not playing.
In addition, New York (Dallas at Washington), Baltimore (Dallas at Washington) and Washington, DC (Pittsburgh at Baltimore) will receive an extra game at 4:15 PM ET.
The NFL introduced the “double doubleheader” last year in Week 17.

The updated maps show the following as well:

WNYW (Fox 5) Previous - None Now - Dal/Wsh

Looks like our NY faithful will get to see the game.

When they changed the Sunday night game from Denver v Minny, to Indy v Titans, that screwed me. I am in the Denver Market, so it looks like sports bar time for me.

I'm not much for emoticon overkill, but the above was my exact reaction to reading this.

Unfortunately, people at work are lookin at me strangely. Wonder if it was the hammer balloon pants or the spidey suit.
