Which uniforms do you think are the best looking, which the worst? I am going to rank all 32 teams in order of preference. But there are not restrictions on your opinions here. My opinions are all going to be based on the teams dark jerseys and will take into account the logos on the helmet, etc.
1. Dallas Cowboys. No doubt about it. The star is iconic and the blue and silver are a great combination.
2. Oakland Raiders. Silver and black is a great combination.
3. Pittsburgh Steelers. Yellow is an underrated color in a lot of ways. The Steelers yellow pants against the black jersey is a great look.
4. Indianapolis Colts. I like simple logos a lot and that horseshoe against a white helmet is classic. I hate logos that are letters for the most part. No imagination. The blue and white look is old school.
5. Washington Commanders. I can't stand them or their racist mascot name, but their uniforms, especially the helmet color, is classic.
6. Miami Dolphins. I am not a fan of teal green or orange, but there is something very compelling about the Dolphins colors together. Great mascot logo I think.
7. San Francisco 49ers. Not a fan of gold as a football color but their combos work well. I like the brighter red better than I thought I would.
8. New York Giants. The main thing I like is the blue of the helmet. Very sharp color and the look is old school classic.
9. New Orleans Saints. I have always liked the black and gold look and the fleur de lis on the helmet is really a great logo in my opinion.
10. Philadelphia Eagles. Liked their old brighter green better, but the color combos and the logo are really good.
11. San Diego Chargers. At one time they were too much like the Rams with the blue and yellow. They should go back to the royal blue. I know Berman likes their old powder blue uniforms but the unis of the Air Coryell days were their best. Good colors. Great logo.
12. Minnesota Vikings. Love the helmet logo. Purple is a very good color and as I have said yellow is under rated. Classic.
13. Kansas City Chiefs. I am not a red fan, but their red and yellow is eye catching and I like it. The logo is good and their overall look is very good.
14. Chicago Bears. I hate the logo, but you can't argue with how old school NFL the rest of the Bears look is. Their uniforms still say Monsters of the Midway to me.
15. Green Bay Packers. Boring logo. Everything else is classic. But if not the letter for the logo what? A sausage? So I get it. Green and yellow is a good combo.
16. Houston Texans. I like the logo, but it gets lost on their helmet. They really ought to consider and all white helmet and I think the red jerseys with white pants would be better. They are almost there but they miss the boat.
17. Buffalo Bills. I could have them a lot higher than this and I used to. But the Bills seem to have gone stale in their look. Still like the helmet logo. Just feel like something is missing.
18. Tennessee Titans. I loved the old Luv Ya Blue Oilers uniforms. I still like the colors. That logo sucks.
19. Detroit Lions. The logo is great. Blue and silver works as we know. The blue they use just screams soft. It reminds me of the word pastel which just sounds like a woman would choose it for a wedding reception color. They should go with a darker blue but not as dark as ours.
20. Jacksonville Jaguars. Do the letters P and U make the point?
21. New York Jets. I used to like the football logo on the white helmet. Kelly clean as the main color is okay, but there isn't much imagination for their look.
22. St. Louis Rams. You know what? At one time when the Rams had their royal blue and bright yellow I'd have had them a lot higher. In fact I'd call them one of the best. But the Navy blue and gold is a wreck. They do get some credit for me for being the first team ever to have a helmet logo and it hasn't changed in all these years nor should it. The ram horns are great.
23. New England Patriots. I do like their red jerseys and white pants but the silver helmet is dumb and that logo sucks.
24. Carolina Panthers. Can you say copy the Patriots logo? Good colors but the wrong application I guess.
25. Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The new uniforms are better than those old orange things. Other than that, not good.
26. Denver Broncos. I used to like their old orange uniforms but hated the helmet. Now I like the helmet logo but hate the uniforms.
27. Cincinnati Bengals. I still say these look like clown uniforms. The tiger stripes on the helmet remind me of those bad leopard outfits women used to wear.
28. Arizona Cardinals. It's bad enough that the team's original colors and jerseys were rented, but to stick with it and that horrible mascot for decade after decade of losing. Makes no sense to me at all. I live in Arizona. We don't identify with cardinals.
29. Altanta Falcons. A black logo on a black helmet is genius. [/sarcasm] All black because of a mediocre head coach who thought he was Johnny Cash and wore all black? Looked a lot better in red.
30. Baltimore Ravens. Almost a complete lack of imagination. Bad logo. They look a little better in purple than in black, but neither one is very good.
31. Seattle Seahawks. Nike did not improve their look enough to suit me, but it did move them up one spot. That is how bad their look is. They should offset the pants color or do something. They look like odd pajamas out there.
32. Cleveland Browns. First of all the mascot name is boring as hell. I have huge respect for the fans of this team who are loyal despite ugly colors, unimaginative mascot name, and less than acceptable results.
Yes, yes I was bored. How did you guess?
