Yes, you read that score right: I'm calling another upset. The Cowboys' offense will simply be too much for a San Francisco defense missing some key playmakers. The Niners' back four in particular will be tested all day long in Dallas.

Tony Romo might throw a late-game boneheaded pick, but he'll have enough time to work behind a suddenly strong offensive line. Dez Bryant, meanwhile, is a mismatch for any player in the Niners' secondary. And to all those people burying veteran San Francisco running back Frank Gore, I'll say that I think he'll pick up 90 yards on one of the worst defenses in football (including the college ranks, too). #SFvsDAL

Giving up only 23 would be around the league avg and better than last years 27 a game. I would say 23 points or less and the defense did a pretty good job

Isn't this one of the guys who beat his chest all offseason and predicted us to win 4 games?

jfc, do people honestly believe Romo throws his "boneheaded" late picks in every game? it happens maybe once or twice a season

always gotta add that qualifier in there for extra doucheiness

It's like they completely forget about all of his amazing comebacks. Christ all you have to do is look at the last time they played SF! ugh it annoys me

Elliot Harrison was generous with the doucheiness. adding the following to other game predictions:

Washington/Houston: "Nah, better to just let RGIII tackle himself."

New England/Miami: "Alternately, Belichick could turn some previously unknown half-assed mountain boys into fantasy heroes."

Philadelphia/Jacksonville: "By the way, it's imperative for Nick Foles to get off to a fast start, so the whole city of Philadelphia doesn't full-on soil their Ricky Jordan underoos."

Pittsburgh/Cleveland: "Brian Hoyer goes 34-for-56 passing for 491 yards and rushes for 53 more in Pittsburgh -- and then the Browns fan controlling him quietly shuts off his video game console so he can finish watching "American Pickers."

***

Totally unnecessary extra crap.

Well, regardless of how this fella predicts the remainder of his games, I've surely gotta like his decision for us vs. San Fran.
Dallas has enjoyed great success over the years on opening day. Even Jason Garrett is two of three thus far. We shall see.

As far as the Seattle vs. Green Bay contest, he's likely on track here, as Seattle is always tough and even tougher at home.

Less than that, on average.. In fact, the late game heroics out number the other stuff, you'd just never know it.

Exactly. Romo this will be the 9th season with Romo as a starter (counting 2006 & 2010), and by my count he has maybe 7 occurrences of late game "boneheaded" picks:

2008 (his first was in his 3rd year starting) - @ Pit
2010 - @ Min (I believe he had a 4th quarter int in this one, but it wasn't at the very end either)
2011 - @ NYJ, Detroit
2012 - @ Wash
2013 - Denver (This one wasn't boneheaded at all IMO), GB (Again, I wouldn't say it was boneheaded, except for not planing his feet - just a bad throw).

The crazy thing is, he had this bad reputation even before 2011 when he had only had TWO. Brady had at least 3 of these moments last year, and would have had a 4th if the Saints hadn't given him 50 chances.
