Green Bay at Dallas (-2)
Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET (FOX)

The Cowboys need this game more than the Packers, although Green Bay may end up locked in a season-long battle with the Lions for NFC North supremacy. Dallas looked great against the Rams for one half, then did an about face in the second half. The Cowboys' running game seems like a favorable matchup against a decidedly average Packers run defense, though Green Bay has overall been stingy about allowing yards defensively. The big question in this one is whether or not Dallas will be able to both hold up in the secondary against Aaron Rodgers and whether Demarcus Lawrence and the pass rush will get home in time to take some of that burden off the defensive backs.

Pick: Cowboys

A quarter of the season is now complete. It's time for our boys to put together a performance that they're capable of.

It also feels like I've been waiting forever for us to score a non-offensive TD. Maybe it finally comes today in the form of a ST return.

Our "rushmen" appear to be asserting more pressure with each game but they'll be more challenged than ever with Rodgers to contend with. The return of David Irving should offer some welcome relief in that effort, along with a steadily improving Damontre Lawrence to help him.

On offense, a big challenge will be to avoid the penalties that have far too many caused drives to falter of late. That should only improve as the season wears on but wins instead of losses must take their rightful place if this year's challenging season is to be turned around.

The Cowboys' ground game must produce more success in this game than it has lately if the Cowboys expect to have any hope of enhancing their odds for success. The Packers have been somewhat vulnerable vs. the run lately. Hopefully, that might help our cause.
