John Clay was a touchdown machine for the Badgers, but went undrafted in April

With the lockout set to be over in less than a week, it’s time to re-visit a list of the top undrafted players by position that we have not had a chance to look at since late April.

I like John Clay, but the 3rd RB needs to be a ST guy and Noel Devine can do both return duties.

I like devine too, Holmes WR, O'dowd, Mims OT and Hurd OG/OT, cedric thorton or ian williams dl, herzlich lB, and d williams, get those guys and i would be doing back flips, if we can get darbut, and blaine sumner too, and fritz cb/pr/kr from wagner.

I would say, get those guys, super bowl here we come with what we drafted, free agency, and our current roster. :starspin

Armondo Allen and Darren Evans. Allen can return punts and kickoffs as well as be a 3rd down back.

Deunta Williams please. We can have a 90 man roster now so another broken down safety to add to our broken down safety mix can't hurt that bad.

At worst injury reserve if he's unable to play.

I agree with you, Hos, but even if they cut Barber, they still have three RB's. I take it you're assuming they move Choice as well?

All good name, CJ, but I read that there will be a $75,000 cap (I believe on the PFT site), so I think it might be tough to sign that many.

True. And Murray is your backup RB with the ability to KR. So lets say both Barber and Choice(unlikely) are gone, I think they could afford to bring in a RB who doesn't have KR/PR ability since Murray already fills that role.

I would. I don't know if they will.

Choice needs to be a starter or primary backup because he is not a STs guy and frankly I think Murray is going to be our primary backup.

Kirkpatrick is a guy who stands out in my view in terms of UDFA. He is a guy who can play Center or Guard

Just some names I like...

The homer in my likes Devine and Jock Sanders. Hoping they would work out as ST players. Although both are small I think they have the speed and shake to do things on returns. With Devine it just depends on how his foot/toe are doing. It really messed with him all last season and it was obvious he did not have the same burst or moves. I doubt we would look at Jock Sanders as he does not fit the type of WR the cowboys like.

Jeff Maehl seems like he would be a reliable possession WR guy but I doubt we have any interest in WRs other than camp bodies.

Jake Kirkpatrick at C and Mimms at OT would be nice. Just to see if they have a shot to stick.

Duenta Williams (sp?), Kendric Burney and Will Hill. I think we should bring in plenty of secondary players and let the best ones stick. I don't know if any of those guys would but would like to give them a chance.

If they are cutting Barber they will need to get another guy for camp. And with a 90 man camp roster, two isn't out of the question.
