NFLN and ESPN?

It seems that I recall about a month or two back that the two networks were involved in some sort of negotiations to have one of the ESPN channels carry the games that are currently only on NFLN. Does anybody happen to know what became of this endeavor?

I ask of course because I'm one of the "lucky ones" that has Time Warner.
