Romo's post game presser, he said he had a couple of pass plays where he threw at the feet of the receiver because he was in traffic or couldn't get enough on the ball. He decided to be sure the Lions didn't get the ball.
Something like, I could have squeezed a couple of those in there, but I was certain one would go the other way. They weren't going to get too far ahead where we couldn't come back unless we gave then the ball (Turnover).
Irvin made a huge deal out of this. Evidently meaning Romo is now making decisions differently. Not sure about that, more later)
Faulk commented that Romo understood they could just sacrifice that down and come back another series and not risk. (Which has been Faulk's consistent complaint about Romo not being judicious)
But Romo also said he hasn't always had this team around him. Which means he felt he had to be the guy to win it, thus take perhaps unnecessary risks.
Faulk also said he isn't worried about the Cowboys running the ball in the cold in GB. Change of dorection for Faulk.
Romo stayed poised, as did the team. That is what the comeback was built on. JMO.
