NFLN: Favre: I didn't call Tony Romo

I thought this was cleared up by Romo who said he called Farve.

The good ole media making up stuff.

Yeah, I guess the media was making it up when Favre said he wasn't "unretiring" and when he said he didn't talk to the Lions about the Packers' plays.

Favre will lie if it's in his best interest.

I thought it was Favre that first said he called Tony and Tony was on his way to the doctor. Favre changed the story?

What on earth are you talking about?

I dont know, but on Inside the Huddle last night, Tony made it seem like he was the one that called Farve for advice. So really, Farve is correct, he did not do the calling.

It was cleared up but Brett said he dialed Detroit, not Romo......

Uh, Favre repeatedly denied that he had an interest in returning to play football, even though he had never filed his retirement papers with the NFL office. Then, lo and behold, he wants to play for the Packers. Lie.

Favre called Jay Glazer's story BS, but then at his press conference this week, he acknowledges that he did speak talk to the Lions and tries to soft-pedal the fact that they talked about plays saying "that happens all the time." Another lie.

So when he says that he never called Romo are we suppose to believe him? Not based on his reputation.

Now do you understand? :)

Some people just post in here and don't even read the other people's responses.

Tony Romo is the one who called Favre. Favre was letting the media know this at the presser today because he was making it clear he hadn't called Millen either, Millen called him.

Romo said he called a few different QB's to ask advice on playing with a broken finger/hand.

Wow. You could cut the hatred with a knife,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,if you could see thru it to find one.

After Romo no shows on Sunday and then around coach on a blogcast says he's not playing next two games.

I respect Favre for denying that call - true or false.

You are way off base.

You don't think coaches and players from other teams talk to each other during the week? And you don't think two pro football players aren't going to talk ball on these conversations? And you don't think coaches don't call other coaches who just played the team they are about the face for info on that team?

How long have you been following NFL football son?

The report was that he spent 90 minutes going over game planning with the Lions. That report never said he spoke to Millen about using his land for hunting. The report was misleading as if Favre was trying his best to help the Lions beat the Packers.

As for filing his retirement papers. If the guy has $40 Mil in the bank and has an entire year to file for retirement what purpose would it serve to file the day after you decided to retire.

And now Favre has to worry about his rep? LOL.

You obviously hate Favre and that was the most knowledgeable thing in your post.
