NFLN: Jamie Dukes says our Offensive Line..

No fricken way are we the best. I wish it were true, but Dukes is on crack (which is surprising because I woulda thought he would slim down once he hit the pipe).

We certainly are top 3 OL in the league. How on earth can you say Dukes who played OL in the league for years is on crack for saying this?

I mean honestly - you are posting on an internet message board. What have you done for us lately?

Dukes has at least been in the trenches. One would assume the guy should know a good OL when he sees one. I don't think we are are the best but I think we are certainly top 3.

It's his "humor" the makes the show unwatchable.

I dunno. I like the guy. He brings a different something to his breakdowns of games.

I think he's pretty smart.

I haven't watched it that many times, but at least he seems like a likeable and enthusiastic guy who gives you an honest effort at telling you what's going on.

But then, I like most of what's on NFLN. It beats most of the baloney on ESPN.

Agree.
Most of the stuff on ESPN is spun to create debate between the analysts and most of it is just tabloid sports.
The NFL network is more meat and potatoes while ESPN is spam.

I would say Bigg and Gurode.

the guys having a great yr, you rarely see a play where Romo is pressured from the backside, and Adams does it all on his own

he'll be in the probowl again..Gurode is a lock, Davis probably goes too

Man o man!!! I keep telling people the same thing about BIG Flo, the guy is a stud. Yes, he jumps off sides too much but you never hear a damn thing from his man and thats more important then him false starting every now and then. Ask Trent Cole!!!! BIG Flo destroyed him. The guy is a damn good LT and we're lucky to have him..

I agree, and I think it's because the play calling is getting better. More movement and more deception, and the plays are more tailored to each back's strengths.

As for the Dukes show, it's one of those shows that uses a lot of background music to keep things moving, and graphics that tell you what's coming up. To give you the impression that something's about to happen--but it never does.

JMO, but that is one of the real keys to our successful season. The learning curve of JG has been amazing to watch.

He is an analyst, he has to say something. Thats like saying Skip Bayless covered the cowboys for years, so when he talks about them, he must have some pretty good knowledge of them.

Outside of Davis, who admittingly is a HUGE upgrade over Rivera. This is the same Oline that damn near got Bledsoe killed the last couple years. You think they aged and all got better?

NO.

Its because we have a qb. Teams aren't going to blitz as much cause Romo has proven he can beat them. Romo also makes people miss, saving sacks.

Go back to your tivo and find all the plays where Romo had to move out of the pocket or avoid someone altogether, and ask yourself if an everyday common qb would have taken a sack there. The answer would be "yes".

I like our Oline, I think they are pretty good. I'm not putting them at number 1 though. I wouldn't put them in the top 3 either.

I like Jamie Duke and his show but he is on drugs if he thinks our OL is the best. It's above average. I miss the days when you could just run behind young Larry Allen and we are good for minimum 4yards. We don't have any guys who can dominate week in and week out. Not yet anyways.
