(BTW - I honestly can't remember if I was for or against him at the time. Just commenting.)

That was painful to watch. However I did take special notice of Bledslow and Rivera. Folks, we will be mucho improved on offense this year. Those guys were pretty bad.TheSport78;1415884 said:wow do bledsoe and rivera look terrible
CATCH17;1416059 said:Bledsoe had a bad game but he had done enough in the previous season to show that he can be a good QB for us.
If he wouldve played like he did the year before Romo might have never got his shot.
Nobody on this board thought he was the answer but at least a good stop gap.
Anyways the pressure finally caught up with him and teams were just killing us right up the middle.
But after the 1st game of the season for some of you guys to be ready to throw him under the bus was pretty dumb.
Its easy to say now that you knew all but you didnt. Even then.

It's easy since I went through the barrage of bashing that took place at that time.
CATCH17;1416121 said:Well nobody knew the future at that point and at that time Bledsoe was still the best option because Romo was to much of a question mark.
Bledsoe played his way out of the starting position. The season before he was pretty good.
Nobody thought he was the future but the future doesnt matter in the NFL because its a win now league.
Bledsoe proved to be horrible but Bill handled the situation perfectly.
About the only point I disagreed with. I hated the change to Romo after the halftime of the Giants game like that. There was still a chance and Romo proceeded to throw three picks to ruin it.CATCH17;1416121 said:Well nobody knew the future at that point and at that time Bledsoe was still the best option because Romo was to much of a question mark.

Do you not see the irony in bashing a player on your team? I mean, he was a Cowboy who was good in his community. I don't know that he deserves your unmitigated disgust...Bleu Star;1416085 said:zzz.. Then why get worked up with folks who display your same feelings for Bledsoe towards The Player? Pretty hypocritical if you ask me. You didn't, but I'm telling you anyway.Bleu Star;1416191 said:Yes. I see the irony. I also have no problem with being known as someone that disliked Bleedslow and was glad he found the exit door. (unlike some on the board that get all worked up when identified as what they exhibit with regards to Terrell)
