During the reaction show Woodson and Faulk said they were surprised at how low he was ranked. Their response to his ranking surprised only because they spend most of their commentary bashing Romo.

That ranking is flipping joke.

It's probably not a fair way to judge him but Romo will never be respected by the rest of the league or the fans until we start performing better in prime time games. I don't have the exact numbers in front of me, but we've been absolutely dreadful on SNF and MNF... some of those games being historic collapses. A lot of our struggles in big games haven't been on Romo, but he's the QB and when your team loses you get the blame... as unfair as that may seem it's the reality of playing the position.

Sproles is a particularly unique (physically) NFL player. I'm not sure Felix has any special attributes other than straight line speed which for NFL RBs means almost nothing.

'Ranking' players is stupid to begin with, but at least it leads to some interesting debate. At least now we know that there are ~3 players on any given NFL team as good or better than Tony Romo.

the problem is no one ever tried to make Sproles a full time starter at RB. When we tried to make Felix a full time starter, he got bigger so he could carry the weight and loss some speed and quickness.

Hopefully he comes in this year lighter and the team utilizes him like Sproles cause I think he can be better.

Since this list was originally created in 2010 (?), it has never about judging performance or statistics. It has always been about popularity between players. Add that fact along with the flawed balloting format and shazam! A list which some (if not most) people cannot stand.

As I have stated all along, this list is strictly a popularity contraption among the players themselves. That said, there are 30 slots yet to fill on the list. Will Eli Manning be the last Giant picked by his peers? Or are other Giants besides Manning looked upon by the rest of the league as being far more important to New York in 2012?

My question is where will DeMarcus Ware land on the list. I'm saying he'll be in the top 20. Probably No. 11.
