I'm at work, but if anyone catches it, feel free to share.
they just called out garrett.....that sucks
How?
They showed highlights from the Commanders game and showed how there were no WRs running routes to the middle of the field, said it was not on Tony Romo and Garrett should have made the adjustment
Definitely need more inside breaking routes.

More so Tony Romo who now has to clutch the ball and take a direct shot through the middle
Interesting. It's not just CZ posters that think this is a problem.

Question: In your extensive study of the team, can you tell us why the offense seems to run so few slants and other short range routes? Especially on blitzes!
Bob Sturm: I have wondered this quite a bit. They don’t like to use between the hashmarks that much with WRs and I don’t know if it is to just keep that space clear for 82 and his option routes. Almost all of Beasley’s routes go to the sideline and Dez and Williams are almost all going down the field outside the numbers. They used rub routes earlier in the year as man beaters, but I think they have seen over the years that linebackers dropping in coverage have put them in lanes that can be problematic. I really don’t know why the shallow crosses seem so rare. Dez scored on the one they ran against Jacksonville.

Don't know why people watch this crap. I avoid stuff like this like the plague. Keeps me sane. I'll watch the game, but not this other garbage.
Maybe the Cowboys are saving them for the playoffs.
Good find.
I'm certain it has something to do with Romo getting intercepted in the past by underneath defenders and they want run those underneath defender out so they have a clear path to the longer routes, but I don't like it. They have to have some shorter routes in the middle on 3rd down or when they are getting to much pressure.
