No.8. Leon Washington
Pete Carroll likes Leon Washington but he will let him go into the NFL free agent pool to test the waters. Washington is a solid double threat for any team looking for a speedy return man or a change of pace running back.

No.7. Pierre Thomas
Pierre Thomas must have done something to get on the wrong side of Sean Payton his head coach with the New Orleans Saints. Payton is not considering bringing back the once integral piece of his high powered offense. Thomas saw limited action in the 2010 NFL season after being injured and when he returned he rode the pine. Thomas could end up in the NFC South as a second back with the Carolina Panthers or Atlanta Falcons.

Payton is going to make a move for MArk Ingram imo.

Of that listed group, I think Michael Bush would be the obvious fit for this team. Especially, considering that MBIII is likely a goner, we need that big bruising element in the backfield again.

I doubt it. If there's one thing they've learned, it's that they don't need to spend a lot to get quality RB play.

Not to mention they have Chris Ivory (716 yards, 5.2 YPC, 5 TDs) who I like and really reminds me of MBIII during his better years.

They also have Julius Jones in a reserve role which probably best suits him.

This is just ignorant and it makes it hard to take the author seriously. Thomas has been injury prone his entire career and it's obvious that the reason the Saints aren't overly concerned with bringing him back is his lack of durability.

agreed unless we draft a briuser

Stevan Ridley, RB, LSU Height: 6-0. Weight: 223.
Anthony Allen, RB, Georgia Tech Height: 6-0. Weight: 223.
Allen Bradford, RB, USC Height: 5-11. Weight: 235.
Mario Fannin, RB, Auburn Height: 5-11. Weight: 225.

Bush is my pick

Bush isn't the power runner his size would have you believe. He's much more likely to try and go around a guy than to try and go through him.

Go after Mike Tolbert, he's the premier bruiser back available and he's a Coastal Carolina graduate!

I think I read somewhere that Reggie counts $13 million against the cap if there is one this coming season. It'll be interesting to see what Payton does do at RB.

What if they bring back Reggie Bush? Reggie has been injury prone his entire career, too.

Since 2007 when Thomas came into the league:

Thomas
2877 total yards from scrimmage(1939 rushing, 938 receiving)

Bush
2780 total yards from scrimmage(1455 rushing, 1325 receiving)
