Each year, every NFL general manager, scout and coach has a personal list of favorite prospects -- guys to pound the table for when the clock is ticking and a decision must be made about which player to invest precious draft capital in.

Well, I'm no different. With one week to go until the 2021 NFL Draft gets underway in Cleveland, here is my list of prospects I feel most passionately about. This exercise isn't all-encompassing, and it's not just limited to the most highly touted players. I've included likely Day 1 (Round 1), Day 2 (Rounds 2-3) and Day 3 (Rounds 4-7) picks here. There are others I would strongly advocate for, too, but I don't want to completely wear out the poor table!

Note: Players are listed by position, and in order of how early they're projected to be picked at positions with more than one player listed.

Jordan could wind up being a much better pro than college player. He would be a very good 3rd rounder. I could even see him being better than Shultz in 2021

Thanks for posting. A lot of times they focus on the first round guys and it gets old hearing the same names. I don't know several of the guys he list, but just did brief youtube scouting on some. That GA secondary player looks interesting as a day 3 guy. Smallish guy but productive in the SEC. Looks like he makes plays too.

Exactly why I posted it ......... a few players some of us never heard of or don't know much about their talent or grade

Is it possible they'd like to use Collins the same as Irvin with Seahawks D?????
Would you take a strong-side LB in the top 15? Him gained a lot of weight recently tells me a 3-4 team wants to bulk him up to play more as an Edge rusher.

Awesome list of players.

Interesting praise re: Moehrig too.

LeCounte is one of those players will find a role in the NFL, being a leader in that defense.

Do you think that's why he's gain weight??????? I mean how can he be sure a 3-4 is drafting him? Charles Davis seems to imply it's maybe eating too many Big Mac hamburgers (LOL).

In my opinion, I think a team or teams told him to do so. I believe he is going to one of those 3-4 teams. Heard Patriots/Steelers love him.

BTW: Anyone heard how players the Cowboys have 1st round grades on. Read a tweet earlier this week that one team ( can't remember which one, Chargers I think) admitted they've narrowed the list of over 2000 players down to 155 draftable players, 44 free agents, 15 players with 1st round grades. That's impressive.......yes I know every team does it but the process is amazing .

This guy ......... SS or FS? I'm a bit confused coz word is he's high on our list at 44

Molden is my top candidate to be this year's Antoine Winfield Jr., a second-rounder in 2020 who is coming off a sensational rookie season that culminated in a Super Bowl victory. I viewed Winfield as a player in the Tyrann Mathieu mold because of his instincts and the willingness to do it all -- tackle, cover, play in the slot or deep at safety. Molden is just like Winfield: The son of a former NFL player who was raised in the game and displays the same type of instincts. I think he's an automatic starter at nickel back no matter where he's drafted.

Quinn apparently likens him to Damontae Kazee. They have very similar measurables and proday numbers.
