UCLA safety Rahim Moore is getting a lot of attention from a number of NFC teams. I’m hearing both the Cowboys and Bears have a lot of interest in the center field standout and he could be an option for both in round two.

He's not really an option for the Bears in Round 2 if he is an option for the Cowboys and they take it........................

idk im not too sold on rahim moore especially in the 2nd round. I think we can get comparable talent in the 3rd.

someone persuade me:D get me on the Rahim Moore train.

GO

I rather have Quinton Carter in the 3rd or I rather pick Aaron Williams over Rahim Moore in the second.

I would love for the Cowboys to get Rahim Moore. But just like I so badly wanted Jones-Drew in the 2nd rnd in 2006 I just don think it will happen. I just hope the sting of not getting Moore will not be as bad as the Cowboys passing on Jones-Drew for Anthony Fassano.....:bang2:

yes that was a fail just like trading fasano and then drafting bennett with another 2nd round draft pick.:bang2:

Would much rather take him in a trade down in the 2nd. I don't think there's a safety prospect in the first two rounds of the draft value-wise.

Best fro-hawk in the draft.

He was steller his sophmore year lead the nation in passes defended and picks(10) then ucla graduated alot of starters on defense so his play dipped but he has a ton of potential i like him

I'm still trying to figure out why people dislike Rahim Moore so much.

Not enough compelling you tube video would be my guess.

They also had a change at defense coordinator when Walker left and Chuck Bullough took over. Bullough inserted a very vanilla D that managed to make guys like Ayers and Moore look average.

He plays in the Pac-10. At least that's my guess anyways.

I never get how non-scouts get energized one way or another about safeties. I have absolutely no idea how anyone can watch games and decide whether a safety is playing consistently good football. TV tape is completely useless.

Back when everyone was putting Eric Berry and Taylor Mays photos in their signatures, I didn't really get it either. Do all these people have some secret stash of coaches' tape?

at least with eric berry and taylor mays, fans got to see the highlight reel often (as in picks and big hits).

because rahim moore isn't that type of guy who makes "big plays", people think hes either trash or chump change. the guy is a smart football player who plays safe football.

if we get him in the 2nd i will be quite happy

I'm sort of amazed I can find YouTube highlights of Taiwan Jones, but you can't much of anything on Rahim Moore his sophomore season when he had 10 picks, lol.

I liked him and then the pundits started talking about him being a poor tackler so I soured on him. Then I watch the NFL network show where he was featured and I got sold on him again. I think he's a safer pick than Aaron Williams and I'm a Longhorn fan.

He's smart, he's instinctive, and plays the ball well. How long has it been since we had a safety that did those things? Everything I read says ballhawk, centerfielder, student of the game.

On the NFL network they discussed his tackling and they were surprised that he did a good job of tackling. They'd felt that was his flaw, but they didn't see evidence of it. He doesn't blow people up.

If they've got Huff all but signed then fine, but tell me who is a ball hawking centerfielder you'd rather have in the 3rd round.

i think he goes in the 2nd round (late second in the 20's maybe)

The one thing that I don't really like about Moore is that he's a bit high-waisted which makes him a little stiff.

He'll take some bad angles and has difficulty changing directions. He's not a thumper, but I think he's actually a pretty fundamentally sound tackler once he gets his arms on you.

Also, the kid needs to work on his conditioning. I read somewhere that he tested out at 15% body fat, which was good for second worst of all the DBs. Football players don't have to be body builders or models, but that needs to be improved which would help his speed and quickness.
