Feeling like he is a 1st round pick, and being the #9 pick are two totally different things. I'm not saying he doesn't have talent, he does. But I do feel that Quinn would have to fall to us, whereas Tyron will probably be there regardless.

Yeah I felt like he was a 1st rounder before the measurables. When you add the measurables into it than I have no problem with him going in the 9-14 range.


I still don't know if he is the best value especially for us.

But with 1st round ability plus top 5 measurables than why not take him in that mid range somewhere?

If Quinn falls to us at 9 I'd be very happy. I'm sure alot of you saw how he manhandled Castanzo and made him look like a pylon. All the talk about a 3-4DE is moot if we could get a monster like Quinn on the outside.

Anyone think Spencer could learn inside backer?

I like Smith. I take Quinn over Smith. Then I find a way back into the first round to get a tackle. If the price is too high, I stay at #40 and get Carpenter or whoever they have rated high.

I don't pass on Quinn.
