Is there anyone or anything about the Cowboys you like? Perhaps it would be easier if you just listed them because I'm sure the list is short.:laugh2:

I don't always answer a man's sideways questions, but when I do - I prefer to be brutally honest.

Romo, Kitna, Choice, Felix, Miles, Dez, Free, Gurode, Kosier, Spears, Ratliff, Ware, Spencer, Jenkins, Newman, McBriar.

Everyone else has been pretty dissapointing this year.

If Roy was an Aggie instead of a Horn and he came to a sudden halt, you would be chewing on his liver no matter how bad he played in previous years.........

As soon as they get to the NFL, I don't give a damn about that anymore. I don't like him because he isnt worth the plane ticket we used to get him here from Detroit. The fact that he went to Texas just makes it easier to accept.

It just seems you dont have much nice to say about this current group of Cowboys.

It's nice to see who a topic can be started about that would invoke some positive responses.

Well compared to what? The abortions that were 2008 and 2009?

Yes, he has played well compared to the years where he was a constant detriment to the team's success. He's gone from worthless to the highest paid fourth receiving option in league history.

Nice play design by Garrett. Dez was open at the bottom of the screen as well.

Also nice to see Dez hustling down the field to throw a block.

i dont really like to pay him that much but i would......yes Dez is gonna be much better....but Dez isnt gonna cost much next few years and right now is on the shelf and he always seems to have some injury nagging him....so id keep Roy at least one more season for insurance and more firepower for 201? and see if we can make a run

Listen I know you love A&M (I don't know why) but just because Williams went to Texas doesn't mean you have to bash him so much. Again, Jerry Jones the GM signed him to the contract, if you want to be mad at someone then he's your guy. Roy Williams is still a very good WR.

If Roy Williams was a very good WR, the contract wouldnt be an issue

I'd much rather have a less talented fourth receiving option so long as they were consistent. Not to mention we could pay him about a fifth of what we pay Williams.

For instance, I'd much rather have Crayton than RW. Is Crayton as talented? No, not even close. But you know what? Crayton was a good route runner who typically had sure hands and wasnt always having his named called for the wrong reasons. In seven seasons here, his poor play played a significant role in exactly ONE loss. Roy is good for at least one of those a year.

First of all he's the 3rd WR on the depth chart. Just because we have a TE who's among the best in the league doesn't diminish what Roy means to us. As for consistency, he's been the most consistent WR we have on this team this season.

Next..

I've just learned not to get my hopes up with this bunch.

They will systematically tear out your heart, each right around the beginning of January. At least this year they had the heart to do it before Thanksgiving.
