Worlds better ? Care to wager on the Commanders/ Panthers Game ?

The Panthers D is the most overrated in football. And they are the most overrated team for the last 5 years.

Yeah Ill wager. If you beat the panthers I will put Joe gibbs in an avatar, if I win the bet you put a pic of Parcells in yours.:D

Bet? Well? I don't have all night.

If the Skins are overrated, then what does that make the all world Brandon Lloyd, Randle EL, Andre Carter, Carlos Rogers...well you get my point.

A Commander fan has no right to call something else overrated when thats all his team is, or has been this entire season.

Panthers beat the crap out of your team, easy. They are a good football team.

I agree with you, man. Commanders fans don't have ANY right to point fingers at any team right now, even the Cardinals, lol.

With all due respect, though, I didn't start this thread to open up a dialogue about that. We suck right now. I know it and it can't be defended until we prove it on Sundays. The Panthers might beat us, but we might beat them too. In the NFL anything can happen, hey the Raiders beat the Steelers:laugh2:

I'll bet ya, but not on the Skins/Panthers game. That's too far away. Let's make that same bet on the Skins/Cowboys for this weekend.

I'll agree to post at least 50 times with the avatar if I lose, too. Deal?

I like the respect you came in here with. Unlike that fool that runs his lip then hides.

It's a deal.:)

OK, now to find you a good picture of Parcells. You do know you need to sport the avatar on the skins site right? If I lose:rolleyes: I will do the same here.

I can't change avatars over there. We're stuck with what we earn by posting. So you want this bet to involve both websites?

Are you registered over there?

Romo looked great and your defense stiffened up after the first quarter, and even more into the 2nd half.

Definitely a solid road win for you guys.

Regardless of that I can only hope the Commanders play inspired football next weekend, because if they don't we're going to be in a world of hurt.

Normally I'd predict a Skins win with us being at home, but we let the titans come in and run the ball for almost 200 yards a couple weeks ago, so that pretty much takes care of any confidence I have going into this game. The only advantage we have is we're coming off a bye. If we play with fire in our bellies like we did against the Jags, then we can pull it out. If we play like we did against you guys in the first game, and how we played against Tennessee... forget about it.

Again, just wanted to say congrats on the nice win tonight.

Here's to an injury free game and may the best team win!

THanks man. Good luck next week, hope you lose, but hell, Ill wish ya luck. I hope Gibbs doesn't go with Campbell, though he might be untested, he might give you the same start we got from Romo.

Having Portis in the lineup is always a plus for the Skins, but the problem is we haven't been calling his number lately. 25 carries combined in the last two games just isn't enough for a guy like him. He needs that many per game if we expect to win.

I think Saunders is trying too much razzle dazzle, and more than likely he doesn't trust Brunell to go down the field, or the oline to block long enough. Regardless, Portis carries is a huge issue with us right now.

Hopefully we fix that when we play you guys.

His number isn't being called because defenses are waiting for him. Al needs to introduce the remaining 700 pages of the playbook so defenses can't gameplan for portis.

OH, ok we will do it here. No I don't go to other teams forums. For this I would have. It's fine to do it here though.

it'll be hard to give Portis alot of carries trying to come from behind ;)

Even when we have been ahead in games (Tenn and Indy) we haven't been sticking to the running game. Watching Denver totally gash the Colts on Sunday really pissed me off because they just stuck to the run and eventually it worked out in the 4th quarter. We don't do that.

But, you are right. Coming from behind definitely eliminates any hope for a running game.
