His coach sounds incredibly optimistic that he won't require surgery. Im not sure what exactly is giving him that impression because I don't see how that could be anything other than multiple ligament tears.

I wouldn't call drafting Fourteen in the top 10 a blown pick. I would pick him even in the top 5.
But I am still of the opinion that a dominant running back can win your a lot of games. I could care less if this is a passing league.

The reports I've seen say his ACL was not damaged. That is a positive. Unlike some of the running backs that have suffered similar injuries in the past Chubb gets another year of college to show if he is recovered before going pro.
