Was a big time prospect before his knee injury, and has been coming back from that the last couple of years. As a runner last year he seemed pretty injury form.

His teammate Sony Michel has passed him as an NFL prospect, and Chubb may only be a two down player in ths NFL. But where do you see Chubb going in the draft. Would he be on your radar for the Cowboys?

I’d take him. I think he’s looked at a 2-3 round pick, but I could be wrong. A good backup RB is kinda an underrated need for Dallas. God forbid Zeke goes down with an injury... it’ll be 2017 all over again.

Id be surprised if he doesnt go somewhere in the 2nd or 3rd.
Id love him as a Cowboy BUT considering the needs and where we'd have to take him...I dont see it.
If he were to slip to the 4th...Id pounce.

He is a two down back with a very serious injury in the past. Do you think someone would make that investment in him?

I see the 4th as a sweet spot for him. He could be an elite runner which may make team's draft him higher, but that kneee injury could also diminish his value.

When I look at a day 2 back, I expect someone whom I can leave on the field all three downs. Chubb isnt that guy. He isnt Sony.

If Chubb was to be a Cowboy, he would likely serve his backup role in a platoon. He would be person that would give Zeke a breather exclusively run downs. And if Zeke wasn't available, we would require a strong 3rd down to play on passing down.

For me his pure running ability has me interested. But the limitations in how you could use him make him a guy I wouldnt want to take before the 4th

Zeke, Rod Smith and Nick Chubb. Sounds like a good young group to me.

I would take him in the 3rd provided he was BPA.

Late 3rd but as Dallas I wouldn't take him until the late 4th. We don't need his type of RB IMO.

Doesn’t really matter as we can’t afford to use a high pick on a RB

Rod Smith is the perfect 3rd down back. Great blocker, good receiver, physical runner.

Agreed. Not that elusive in the open field though but I'm cool with standing pat with our RB's.

You trust this coaching staff? Same staff that didn’t make the offense Dak friendly from year 2 and waited for year 3.
