Right this defense isnt going to help any QB dont spend capitol on a backup just use Grier.

We’ve already thrown away a couple of picks on QBs. It was a mistake not picking up a better veteran that was available when we had the chance. We should’ve just kept Cooper Rush. There has to be a veteran sitting around that’s better than what we have.

I would have looked to sign him earlier this offseason, however you get the sense that Jerry/Stephen have zero interest in paying anyone backup QB money. I know it seems a little silly as we are only talking about a three million dollar difference between a Winston and Will Grier, but this team has shown that they have hard spending limits for certain positions....last years refusal to sign a RB if they cost more that $3.5M being the easy example.

As of August 14, these QBs were still available. Wentz would definitely be better than what we have. Even CJ Beathard. Driskel gave us a problem a few years ago in Detroit. We drafted Mike White in the 5th round a few years ago.

The best of the Giants QB's is Dart. He was the top ranked rookie QB week 1, and the top ranked rookie QB week 2.

Dart was just sitting there for Dallas to draft. No trade required. Cheap rookie contract. Quality backup from day 1, heir apparent in seasons to come.

In a couple of years, folks will be banging their heads on the wall. It was the perfect opportunity for Dallas. Too bad the GM doesn't value the QB position.

Dak either starts all the games or the season is lost.

No need for a quality backup. May as well really throw it away if that happens.

Having a capable backup is how you end up with a guard in round one coming off a lost season.
