Nick Vigil was awesome

I wasn't sure what to expect but he did well in his first start. He didn't always take the right angle and missed some plays. But considering he is normally inactive and has only had limited snaps this year, he made some plays and showed a lot of hustle.

I believe you're right but it's because it's his second start he did not look good the first time Kendrick was out like four or five weeks ago he actually played in his place, and he didn't do as well, but yeah fact that were missing Overshown , the group together just seemed to feed off each other for sure. I mean even Joseph, Gholston and Lawson were getting involved when MZ was sending the calvary I don't think Baker Mayfield was expecting that kind of defense it literally as the game went on they were just starting to whoop that offensive line could you look at the first half they were running the ball on us they were being able to move in the pocket and get away and throw the ball downfield but all of a sudden it looked like everyone was beating their guy in front of him on the offensive line and they were making Baker very nervous and the backs couldn't block they stopped being able to be able to run I mean this is a good sign if we end up stuck with this coaching staff again... Get our healthy players back all this extra snaps for these backups are gonna be valuable for next year..

I don't know what you saw Kendricks, but kendricks played great all year ,so far above expectations his stat line says he belongs in the Pro Bowl, and you're saying he didn't play well at middle linebacker this year? he has in 13 games 63 tackles, 3 TFL, 3 FF, and 2 INT, and 3 sacks...hmm must suck .. And remember the line he's playing behind and all the players have been missing from this D..

dude some of you all I don't know what you're watching but calling a guy was for most plays no he was not waste out most plays that usually starts out up front and when's the last time we had a great middle of our defensive line it's hard for a linebacker to play when you're allowing the 300 LB men free runs to the second level maybe you don't understand football but everyone who watch the games saw #41 making plays all game the same with liafu... And what you got to remember these guys are backups these are what we're talking about next year for the most part this is our depth that you're watching play like this that's actually a positive thing my man you know what a word positive means it means you don't come in every post and **** on everything you lift your leg on stuff like you can't appreciate anything if we say they look good they no one's saying to you look like the, apparently you don't know how to do that!!!!

Lots of guys getting a chance and playing hard to try and make a statement. The physicality was awesome. Felt like a playoff game. Contrasting that game to the Green Bay playoff game last year is unreal.

Another reason why paying a handful of players a kings ransom isn't necessarily better than having a little less talent but a lot more heart & want to.

Good lord calm down. Kendricks has been serviceable. Dominant? Awesome? Nope. I love my team, but I’m not blinded by the star. I can actually be critical. And he will be gone next year.
Have you forgotten the games this year where we gave up HISTORICAL YARDAGE? There was NO ONE playing” awesome”. Our only “awesome” LB may not play football again.
I love the potential of Liufau. Hopefully he grows.

Yeah, Lawson was a good signing by the FO. Sort of odd how it played out with the workouts and then signing him later. He was clearly the best of the lineman they brought in. He would be a good guy to bring back if the $ worked out. We have no idea if Sam Williams can produce opposite of Parsons and Lawrence is probably not back. Having Lawson as your 4th rusher would be smart.

that stat line says he did play well above expectations, that Sean Lee stat line...

Yes the D had super bad games but missed sam williams and balnd befopre game 1 and then Diggs comig off acl injury, New schems new players....

the game is played in unison IE Team, and when the front guys don't play worth of **** which has been most of what's been a Dallas Cowboys problem in the middle is trying to find the big fire plug at nose tackle and a consistent middle of the line play, when you have so many players injured you add that to what's been going down this year and you're going to stay here and try to ride his *** and our only awesome linebacker is Overshown? Micha Parsons is an outside linebacker, you may not understand the game ,because you think he's a defensive end, but he's actually a moving linebacker that does pass rushing he is not a full-time defensive end, yes that's his main job, but he is one of our linebackers and he is also pretty damn good...

so there you go you said Liafu and Overshown and add in Parsons not bad room with small role player group. Vigil and Kendricks type are necessary TO FILL OUT ROSTERS WITH HARD CAP and roster limits...Ill say it again Kendricks played well above exceptions given the circumstances GOOD LORD Hater..

I wouldn’t count on Williams at all and Lawrence I think is done as a Cowboy. Golston and Lawson plus Kneeland and I think of Pardons as a modern day Fred Dean . This position and obviously DT need a draft pick .

Jerry needs to bring Lawson OSA & Golston all back . Get busy Jerry ,

OVershown might never come all the way back and more than likely will not do much next year if at all. Liafu has come on so that is good. But frankly for the future our LB corps is thin.

He over ran a couple of pass rushes (part of it was Baker's mobility), but he didn't screw up and that's big for a guy that has had limited action all season coming in now.

I say it all the time: Quality depth is a luxury and if Nick Vigil can be quality depth, that's a win.
