Any other night owls. I usually go to bed around 8 PM and rise around 1 AM ...

I love the stillness of the night, the crickets singing and in the summer when its humid, night-time is just a little nicer.

Most importantly way less traffic...

A night owl doesn't go to bed at the same time as the blue-hairds:laugh:

Regardless, us true late-nighters don't crash until the wee hours after a long day. This is when I get time to myself after the wife goes to bed........me time

Get off work at 12:30 dodge drunk drivers on the way home laugh at them when they get pulled over get home at 1:15 and pop a top. Try to hit the sack by 5:00 been working 10 hrs a day cause I got a killer 6 month contract

I go to bed between midnight and 1:30am on weekdays and weekends if my buddies are online. All bets are off when I go to bed,

I only sleep about 6 hours a day. I go to bed at 11:00 and get up at 5:00. On the weekend I'll sleep in until about 7:00. I've just never needed much sleep.

What's sleep?

I used to stay up late to watch the late night talk shows until they became unwatchable.

I quit watching late night talk shows when Leno retired. I was am a big Leno fan. I attended a Tonight Show taping ... Howie Mandel was the guest, funny. Then after the show, we were waiting to cross the street Leno and Mandel pulled up to the corner in one of Leno classic cars...

It's pretty cool the taping ... their biggest concern was people with sunglasses. One of the interns explained, "everyone knows the show is taped in the late afternoon, but we like to leave the impression with home viewers that the show is on at night".

Good Morning...it.s absolutely perfect out. Nice cool breeze...love this time in the morning (5 AM).

This.

Heat with humidity SUCKS.
Sam, I can't tell you how happy I'm going to be when summer is over. It's been so hot and humid that folks can't even enjoy being outside. The past few summer's in the NE have been like living in Miami. It will probably last till mid October again. The so called 4 seasons you and I are use to are a thing of the past.

Humidity is the worst. Our humidity broke overnight, much cooler now. For the most part I like the climate I live in ... its still pretty much the same as it was when I was going to school in the 70's. We get long summers, nice springs, nice fall ... cold and mild winters ... but the real cold is usually only in January and February...and sometimes we get lucky and those 2 months are milder than usual....

Here’s one of my favorites. It’s a instant classic.
You’ll all laugh your butts off.
You can fast forward to 16 minute mark if you wish.
