If we all got in trouble for what we did outside the workplace, the majority of us would be in AA meetings or in jail for illegal activities. Hell, the majority of us would be suspended for taking NyQuil or DayQuil for the amount of alcohol it has.
Bottom line is that Goodell has taken this way too far. It's a good thing that he wants to straighten out his bad apples but making his players vulnerable to things like this... isn't good for him as a commisioner.
Nike and Reebok are wrong to pull his endorsements like this. It's not like he's a terrible athelete for staging dogfights.
You are so off the mark it's ridiculous. Vick is paid to represent Nike. Not just on the football field, but everywhere he goes. His name is on their merchandise and as such, he has to uphold a certain level of respectability.
