I will never understand how some men have become so incessantly infatuated with shoes.

It once was a better day.

I agree...I've got one pair of white tennis shoes, a pair of dress shoes for church and my Redwing work boots which I wear most of the time.

I guess since most of the young these days are constantly on their smart phones they see their feet much more than previous generations and they need some cool looking shoes to peer at? Eh...to each their own.

You young whipper snappers get off my lawn! *grumble*

It works in soccer. Probably not the NFL though unless it matches with your uni like the Dolphins or Seahawks.

Man. Those are nice. I would definitely wear them and not care about it one bit.

A kid came to basketball practice the other day, I took one look at his shoes and said "did you catch the guy who threw up on those"?

Is the complaint that they're orange? Then the complaint should be about the Pro Bowl colors in general. I don't see what the big stink is, they look like any sneaker you'd see these days.

They're unique. I wouldn't wear 'em. I just want to know why they decided neon green and orange were the appropriate colours to use for the pro-bowl this year?

In younger generations (more so), it is how you define "personal" status or where you are/want to be as it was in history (all styles are cyclical). There seemed to be a brief period where the blue collar style was "in" where nice shoes had a negative connotation (nothing wrong with it). It's the first thing a woman looks at after your face...least I'm told.

If any of you have your cross colors gear left over. Get it out. It will be back in style real soon. And those shoes should match just fine :)
