this has a lot of the scores for players in this draft class coming out of high school, take with a grain of salt but interesting to see what kind of athletes these kids were and could be fun to compare once the combine is done

No way im hell Barnett runs a 5.0

Fournette running a 4.3 in high school

Im guessing thats an error that Royce Freeman ran a 4.07

Interesting info tho, looking forward to comparing numbers later on after combine

You're looking at the wrong column, the second two times you're questioning are the short shuttle which btw speedy noil ran a sub 4 which is amazing

Thaddeus Snodgrass...poor kid. The last name wasn't enough.

Quincy Wilson...if he's still a 4.6 that's a problem. He's better than any other CB I've watched but, if he doesn't have the speed, not much can be done. I'm sure he can make the transition to Safety but he seems redundant here.

Snodgrass is a pretty prominent name in the stoner world

So I'm guessing you'd say no to josh Norman being on this team.

No, but that's not a meaningful question.

A) Norman was a 5th rounder and we're talking about a potential 1st rounder.
B) You're identifying the outlier while ignoring the 20 slow CB prospects each year who were run out of the league by the end of their first contract because they couldn't stay with a WR past 20 yards. You're acting like Norman is the rule rather than the exception.

Furthermore, you're acting like teams don't use athleticism and size to ***** and slot players. This is odd from a Cowboys fan, because the combine was basically Tex Schramm's baby and the Cowboys were trailblazers in this area for decades.

And teams are mostly correct. The 6'4" college OT with 33" arms almost always needs to move inside. The 5'9" 200 lb RB isn't an every down back. The college D Lineman going 6'2" and 270 doesn't have a pro position, no matter how much "heart" or "moxie" he has. But the fan remembers the guy who proved the scouts wrong because that guy sticks around for 10+ years and shows up on SportsCenter. All the ones who will fail were forgotten six months after getting drafted by a team the fan doesn't follow. Players are slotted based on how they project to the pros, not how they played in college.

In any case, I also said I like him more than any CB I've watched (unsaid, I've watched all of the top prospects at this point).

Fair point about the round.
