Although all those guys played for Dallas, all but Woody and EW would go in as members of different teams. Maybe Herschel would go in as a Cowboy since he technically played longer here than anywhere else.

Glover - Saints
Smith - Jags
Thomas - Dolphins
George - Titans
Cunningham - Eagles
Bledsoe - Patriots

Hall of Famers who made the major part of their primary contribution for any one club are listed in bold. In cases where a player contributed about equally and/or in a major way to two or more clubs – he is listed in bold under both clubs (ie. Gary Zimmerman is listed with both the Vikings and the Broncos as his primary teams). Hall of Famers who spent only a minor portion of their career with any club are listed under that club in normal font.

I don't think Hall of Fame busts need to social distance or much less wear a mask.

At very least Herschel Walker belongs in the ring of honor for being the key piece in that trade.

Herschel Walker 12th all-time in all-purpose yards with 18,168...hope he makes it.

The HoF must hate Chuck Howley.....

Chuck Howley should absolutely be in and he’s never even been considered.

Same with Harvey Martin. LC Greenwood has been a 6x finalist and Martin has never came up. If LC gets in then so should Martin.

Zach Thomas should get in and has the best shot from that list.

Its the Pro Football Hall of Fame, not the NFL Hall of Fame, therefore Hershel Walker should make it, even if you cut his USFL stats in half, he would still have over 10,000 yards rushing in his pro career

Hilarious.

Walker dominated the minor leagues for three years and had like one good NFL season.

Actually on 3 of those would go in as Dallas Cowboys. Woodson, Williams and Herschel.

Glover played almost as many years here as he did with any other team (New Orleans five, Dallas four). Most of his Pro Bowl appearances and half of his All-Pro selections were while he was with us.

Walker spent more years with us than he did with any other team. He also was an original draft pick of the team, and his only Pro Bowl and All-Pro years were with us.

I think we have as good of a claim to both of those players as any other team ... although I consider Glover more of a Saint.
Both only spent around 1/3 of their professional football years with the Cowboys though. I’m not saying they didn’t play well in Dallas, and maybe the Cowboys have as good a claim as others, but I don’t really view either as primarily identified with a particular team.

He actually had several good NFL seasons as a dual threat, just only one great one

I'm sorry but when you top 1000 yards rushing only twice in your 13 year NFL career, you have no business being in the HoF conversation.

Those propping him up are being intellectually dishonest if they try to make any argument based on his NFL performance.

HoF isn't for guys who had a few good seasons. Clearly this nomination is not about on field performance

Lynn Swann says hello.

Led the NFL in receiving TDs once in his career, top 5 in receptions once, never broke 900 yards in his career. Not much else but a couple high profile catches. The HOF is about what the voters want it to be about, nothing else.

he has more career rushing yards than 15 current hall of famers.
12th all-time in all-purpose yds.
he'll get in eventually...probably on the seniors ballot.

The vast majority of those backs played in eras where there was not a 16 game season.

Dude made two pro bowls and people wanna put him in the hall? Good lord
